  • Test drove vehicle – can feel the bumps and shakes on the steering wheel and suspension Raise vehicle up on air inspect all front ends joints , suspensions everything looks tight and solid at this time . Only issue noticeable to contribute towards suspension shake is upper control arms binding to the springs There is no clearance between upper control arm and springs – After market raised kit – need to install correct control arms – upper – both side front end

  • Drove vehicle – can hear growl noise from front end Raised vehicle and ran in gear while listening with stethoscope with help of another tech – found the right front wheel bearing is very noisy THere is slight noise from left front too, but it maybe just noise transfer. Therefore recommend to first replace right front wheel bearing and recheck Note: Some time the bearing are seized into knuckle. It would be only known once started to press out. If the bearing does not release from the knuckle, another knuckle would need to be replaced at additional cost
  • Removed and replaced the right front wheel bearing Inflated all tires to 32 psi. Left rear tire has nail – leaks Removed nail and plugged hole – cleared TPMS DTC Test drove vehicle – no more noise

  • DTCs P0441 – Evap emission control incorrect purge flow P1604 – Start ability malfunction P2757 – Torque converter clutch pressure solenoid control circuit performance or stuck off Diagnose – Test gas cap passes , Visually inspect all the vapor hoses looks ok , Perform smoke test and at the same time perform functional test all solenoids works and seals perfect except leak detection pump into vapor canister . so recommend to replace new canister with pump clear dtc and re test . Declined
  • Diagnose – Check fluid level is ok but the fluid is very dirty and smells like cooked , Clear dtc road test vehicle for short drive nothing wrong found shifting is normal at this time , No dtc , perform functional test all solenoids clicks and operates fine , No T – S – B – with above error dtc , Possible has intermittent failure due restriction in valve body or TCC converter is slipping up when it gets hot , Advised customer first try flush transmission and re check. Declined
  • Replace customer supplied new vapor canister clear dtc check engine light stays off now

  • Checked coolant level – radiator and reservoir – both very low Filled up Radiator – noted upper tank is cracked/ leaks Engine oil is okay – maintenance light on but it is not due for 2K miles per service tag DTC: P0356 Ignition coil "F" primary/secondary circuit Inspected Ignition coil – retainer clips missing but connectors are intact Noted TSB for the DTC and symptom – reference # 0047-10 – January 28 2010 – Recommend to replace ignition coils Inspected spark plugs – incorrect spark plugs – champion – should have Bosch – Double Iridium 1. Recommend to replace Plugs and Ignition Coils, Clear DTC 2. Recommend to replace Radiator Customer authorized
  • Removed and replaced spark plugs, Ignition coils – resealed intake plenum with new gasket Cleared DTC – ran engine – no more misfire
  • Removed and replaced radiator – filled with new coolant – ran engine – cooling fans cycle at 208 deg F – temperature stays normal Test drove vehicle – runs fine – check engine light stays off
